«SlangZone.net» cares about protecting your personal data and only collects the bare minimum. This privacy policy should answer any questions you have about how your data is handled.

Who owns SlangZone?

SlangZone.net is a one-person side project, run by this person.

What data do we need, and why?

The only thing we record about you is a unique ID provided by Google or Twitter. This only happens when you log in through one of those services, and it's what links the words you add back to you as the author.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, phone, etc.) that help the site remember your preferences. SlangZone.net stores your login method (Google, Twitter) in a cookie. It's set when you log in and cleared when you hit "Log out".

Some third-party services we use, like Google Analytics and Google AdSense, may set their own cookies too — this policy only covers SlangZone's own cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site so we can improve it. Google Analytics processes and stores your data (cookies, IP address) in the United States.

Take it with you. You can request a copy of everything we have and have it transferred to another provider.
